Cheap and easy to find. Somehow cosy - the breakfast hall reminds me somehow of my grand-parents in law's house.
The quadruple room does seriously need curtains.

I had a comfortable triple room with a private bathroom, and the central heating, multi-channel TV, and seating area were great, while the friendly staff quickly addressed any concerns I had.

The breakfast was ready for us when needed.
We did not get the room which I had booked. When I complained about this, I was reimbursed the difference without any question.

It really was appaling hotel; welcome by a receptionist in pyjamas, a bikinibabe on the remote control, a shower that flooded our room, dirty toilet (shared) and a woman that scream "zahlen, zahlen"

Kind people to greet us (I think the owner?). We got breakfast earlier than the normal breakfast time because we had to leave earlier. The hotel wasn't too expensive compared to other places, but still ok rooms and good comfort beds. Basic, but ok breakfast. Can definitely recommend this place if you need an overnight stay on your way travelling further. Easy to find, close to the highway.
Looked and smelled a bit old in the entrance part. The rooms were good though. Toilet not in the room, but for us (staying only 1 night) this wasn't a problem.

The quadruple room at Hotel zum Norden was cozy and had a unique touch with its private external shower down the corridor. As a couple, we loved the privacy it offered and the convenience of having the shower close by. It added a sense of adventure to our stay!
Personally, we would have preferred an ensuite bathroom instead of the external shower. However, we understand that some guests might enjoy the novelty and communal aspect of using a shared shower.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Jagel, and I had a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for my family of four. The highlight was the internal connected room for the children, complete with coloring materials and toys. They were delighted! The freshly baked bread served at breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ample parking on the premises was also a bonus, especially for travelers like us. I highly recommend this hotel for its warm atmosphere, great breakfast, and family-friendly accommodations.

Enjoyed a range of regional specialities at the restaurant, free WiFi throughout, and a convenient location. Had fun with water activities nearby.
Loved the experience of smelling like smoke and marihuana throughout my stay. So refreshing!

cleanliness was good, and the location was convenient as it was next to renovation works. I got some interesting local insights from the bar and restaurant - which seemed to have remained unchanged since the 1970s. The staff provided good service.
Strongly recommend.
